BRONCOTIN is bronchodilator that has a direct relaxation effect on bronchial smooth muscle and provides relief from obstructive airway diseases. It inhibits phosphodiesterase, slows down the hydrolysis rate cAMP, increase the ratio of cAMP/cGMP in the tissue, inhibits the release of allergic mediators such as histamine and slow-reacting substances and promotes the release of catecholamine. It also has cardiotonic and diuretic effects.
